CCID International Volunteer Scholarships
About the Scholarship
As a non-profit with a mission to create a global community, one relationship at a time, United Planet is dedicated to building the global accessibility of our programs. Partnering with Community Colleges for International Development (CCID), we offer a range of scholarships to fulfill this vital commitment, and give every student the opportunity to have an international experience.
United Planet International Volunteer Scholarships: United Planet offers authentic, immersive, and personalized volunteer travel programs, from 1 week to 1 year, across the world. United Planet is pleased to offer Scholarships up to $1,000 towards these Short-term, Mid-term, and Long-term Quest programs.
United Planet Virtual Volunteer and Internship Scholarships: United Planet offers virtual volunteering and internships in 25 countries, for 1-6 months. Interns and volunteers can support projects and help solve community challenges with global organizations, remotely. United Planet is pleased to offer Scholarships up to $350 towards any Virtual Quest program.
United Planet Faculty and Class Scholarships: United Planet offers global volunteer and community-based learning programs in over 30 countries through in-person travel programs and virtual community projects. United Planet is pleased to offer CCID institutions preferred program fees and scholarships for faculty, classes, and groups. Program fees will be waived for traveling faculty with 10 or more students.
We invite all active students at a CCID Member Institution to apply for our Scholarships. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Requirements
- Applicants must be first-time Quest participants.
- Applicants must be current students or alumni of a CCID Member Institution.
- The Scholarship must be applied to an individual Volunteer Abroad Quest or Virtual Quest program before the end of the current calendar year.
- This scholarship may not be combined with any other scholarships or discounts offered by United Planet.
For Faculty Advisers & Groups:
- Scholarships for CCID Member Institution Faculty and Advisors are available per calendar year.
- We invite all active students and alumni of CCID Member Institutions to implement collaborative, group-based in-person and virtual volunteer and community projects for classes, supporting organizations in over 30 countries!
