The community welcomed me with open arms. Our host family was excellent, they did not speak English but somehow we still managed to communicate and I have been in contact with them regularly since my return. The staff at the school also welcomed me with open arms and were always available to answer questions, and share part of their culture and daily lives…It was the people I met along the way that made my experience.
