Playing football with the locals of Otavalo, meeting college students in Quito, and attending a wedding in Otavalo will be my most memorable experiences that I had while being in Ecuador. I think my favorite parts of the trip occurred while being in Otavalo. There I grew closer to my team members, I had a better interaction with the locals and members of the community, and the service that we did there felt more meaningful. I also really enjoyed getting to know our tour guide Gaby which was very easy to do since she was always right by our side when we were volunteering and I really appreciated that. Honestly she is a really great person and is a great representation of how wonderful the people of Ecuador are.
