My trip to Puerto Rico was incredible! For this trip, I had the opportunity to serve as a Facilitation Fellow and help guide students on the trip. We had an amazing time serving with Mi Patria, and this was definitely an experience for the books. We were able to help with clean-up at someone’s house who had recently completed their service in the army (at 92 years old!) and we were honored to be apart of this. The experience helped students and myself deepen our understanding of what a servant leader is, and for that, I am so thankful. United Planet helped connect us to an experience that left a huge impact!
