Warld stands for storytelling and endless opportunities. Our mission is to start a movement and to foster a global community centered on creating life stories that are worth telling. We are proud to partner with United Planet to offer student scholarships for international volunteer programs. Application deadline is August 1st, 2018.
Scholarship Amount: $300 toward any United Planet Quest program
Criteria for selection:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university in the US.
- Ages 17-24 (at time of program start.)
- First time traveling with United Planet and not currently enrolled in a United Planet Quest
- Winner will be selected based on creativity and enthusiasm with the essay questions and social media posts.
Application requirements:
- Complete the online application form by the deadline
- Attach resume
- Letter of recommendation from faculty member or employer (optional)
- Parent signature if applicant is under 18 years of age at time of applying
- Follow @warldco on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram & sign up on company website
- Post a creative travel/adventure inspired photo of yourself and tag @warldco (on any platform) with a reason why we should select you to increase your chances of winning!
Scholarship Winner Requirements
If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you agree to the following conditions:
- Follow @warldco on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram before, during, and after program
- Provide Warld with a testimonial or story about the program experience with photos that can be used on company blog, website, and social media (more details will be provided upon completion)
- Complete United Planet’s survey at the end of the program
Quest Program options:
- Recipients can choose to use the $300 scholarship at any time of the year and for any Quest program (short term, long term, any country).
- Scholarship recipients must begin their Quest program within 1 year of confirming their acceptance of the scholarship.
Winner(s) of the Warld Scholarship will have the opportunity to be endorsed/sponsored by the brand and receive free exclusive products.
