United Planet knows that Bonner Scholars and Leaders never stop giving back. Theresa Higgs, United Planet Advisory Board Member, and Bonner Scholar, University of Richmond, ’96-‘99, is the living role model.
Theresa serves United Planet, an international nonprofit organization based in Boston that shares the Bonner values of community building, civic engagement, diversity, international perspective, and social justice through its work in over 25 countries around the world. Every day, United Planet strives to empower students from across the nation to explore key global issues, immerse in foreign cultures, and serve side-by-side with local people in community projects worldwide.
In honor of the contributions that Theresa has made to United Planet, United Planet offers Bonner Scholars and Leaders five special scholarships for our Quest Volunteer Programs. In addition, Bonner Scholars always receive 5% off our Short-Term and Virtual Quest Programs year-round. (This cannot be combined with a scholarship).
These United Planet – Bonner International Scholarships encourage Bonner Scholars and Leaders to think, feel, and act globally so that they may embrace challenges and opportunities which transcend borders in a spirit of global community.
Scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled students and returning to university for the fall semester. The scholarships may be used before the end of the current calendar year.
