Position Description:
As an International Partnerships Coordinator at United Planet, you will play a pivotal role in helping us strengthen our partnerships across the United States and around the globe. This position involves a mix of research, outreach, collaboration, and participation in departmental and team meetings. It’s an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining hands-on experience in experiential learning, education abroad, international development, service-learning, and the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential partners.
- Assist in outreach and communication efforts to establish and nurture relationships.
- Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical approaches.
- Support database management and tracking of partnership initiatives.
- Analyze the progress and effectiveness of partnership development efforts.
- Engage in special projects related to global programming as required.
Desired Qualifications (in order of importance):
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Genuine passion for United Planet’s mission to create a more united planet and foster global community.
- Experience in research and outreach is beneficial.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and attention to detail in previous endeavors.
- Highly organized and task-oriented.
- Previous volunteering or community service experience is preferred.
- Previous international travel or cross-cultural experience is a plus.
