Although there were many hardships, my overall experience was excellent and created a lifelong impact on myself and my perspective on people and the world. The kids I worked with were wild, energetic, and could make fun out of nothing. It was an awesome experience and I already wish I could go back!

What is it like to quit your corporate job in America to teach English in a remote village in Kenya?

“I decided to volunteer because in college I studied International business. I’ve always dreamt of helping small businesses entrepreneurs grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods. After five years of working in corporate America is still had not achieved this goal so I decided to quit my job and take a year to volunteer.
