South Korea

The main purpose of service camps in South Korea is ‘Glocalization’ (globalization at a local level) which is to bring the world to Korea and provide opportunities for international exposure. All service camps cooperate with local NGOs, local governments, civil society and local volunteers. The locals are pleased with and welcome the international volunteers who have different cultural, social and educational backgrounds to share.

Participants ages 19 to 35 years are welcome to apply. Age limitations are based on current and past participant groups, we want to ensure volunteers are among like-minded peers; exceptions may be available, contact United Planet to inquire.
