Introducing New Interactive Webinar Series

July 25, 2012United Planet

Two students in class in Ghana

As the summer moves forward, so does United Planet!

This Friday, we are very excited to launch our new monthly webinar series!

The goal of these webinars will be to both initiate discussions around global issues and foster relationships among motivated people all around the world.

Each webinar in the series will focus on a specific topic or theme; this Friday’s July  webinar will kick-off with the challenges and triumphs of the educational system in Ghana.

This informative webinar will focus on the last 35 years in Ghana and the changes that the education system has undergone.  United Planet’s local Ghanaian Programs Coordinator, Akos Ganyo, will lead our first installment along with two current volunteers contributing directly from the field.

In the coming months, more exciting and intriguing topics are to follow including women’s empowerment, education, conservation and public health in various cultures all over the world.

Our team at United Planet is very eager to introduce the series as it will allow new ways for Quest alumni to engage in issues that they were exposed to during their Quests, and will also provide an opportunity for those who are considering traveling or unable to travel at this time, to become actively engaged in global issues.
