United Planet to Announce Intergalactic Volunteer Quest

April 1, 2014United Planet

United Planet Mars Quest

Joining visionaries like Elon Musk of SpaceX and ambitious missions like the MarsOne project, United Planet is announcing the expansion of their Quest programs to Mars. The program will be the first interplanetary volunteer abroad project of its kind.

“United Planet has never been afraid to lead. As a part of United Planet’s mission to unite every person on the planet one relationship at a time, we’re excited to expand our work from international to intergalactic.” said David Santulli, president and founder of United Planet. “As we look to the future, we need to ensure that we are promoting interplanetary relational diplomacy. True understanding can help create a community beyond borders, planets, and light years.”

The groundbreaking intergalactic project will follow the successful model of United Planet on Earth and provide a complete and culturally-immersive experience for humans and Martians alike. Individuals will have the opportunity to join Martian language classes, stay in a pod with a host family, and enjoy the best ice cream in the Milky Way. In addition to getting an authentic cultural experience, volunteers will help with essential community development programs like the Martian Ice Mining Initiative, which works to combat the severe water shortage facing the planet.

“The people of Mars are really excited to host humans and show Earthlings that we’re not all that different. In fact, we’ve prepared interactive holograms of some of our favorite celebrities: Bruno Mars, Veronica Mars, and Keanu Reeves to make the people of earth feel right at home.” said Mars Planet Coordinator Q’xq12Lou%.

Volunteers can apply to the Mars Quest beginning on April 1, 2014 through the end of 2014. Those with any questions about the process can contact United Planet via e-mail at quest@unitedplanet.org or 617-267-7763.
