Todd Ericson, an ex-pat friend of Paul, our Chile Country Coordinator, co-founded Chilean Adventures in 2002 after moving to South America in 1994 to help with Junior Olympic athletes’ academic curriculum after being an English/Language Arts and Communication teacher in North America. After teaching at La Universidad del Mar in Chile for 9 years, Todd is now a Program Coordinator at Chilean Adventures, overseeing every detail of the university students’ study abroad experiences.

In 2014, Todd and his family founded Los Queñes River Lodge and Cabañas. Located 200 km south of Santiago and a 7 minute walk from the small town of Los Queñes, the lodge is where you can stay with Chilean Adventures. Surrounded by the pristine and unexploited mountain ranges and rivers of Chile, you can enjoy a variety of adventures – from rafting and kayaking in the river to hiking and biking on land.
